WE ARE
1977, when it started
under the name
Gábos Kft., the
exclusively Hungarian
owned family
business…
First, the production of plastic products
carried out as a craft activity,
then in 1990 we transformed
into a limited liability company.
Nowadays under the brand name of
Gábos Plastic Works our company has
grown dominant into business of plastic
manufacture of packaging materials
within the domestic market.
State-of-the-art machinery
production hall is located
in Kiskunlacháza, approx. 35 km
away from Budapest on an area
of nearly 1 hectare.
For production activity serves about
600 m² professional factory hall, while
storage has a floor area of 420 m²
made of lightweight building.
MILESTONES
IN OUR LIFE
1977
Mr. and Mrs. Zoltán Gábos
starts the activity
in the home garage
(and thus the first “Company form”
was formed: Zoltánné Gábos
Self-employed)
1987
Moving to a basement to an area of 300 m² (the garage has been expanded and remodeled)
1990
Beside Individual Entrepreneur GÁBOS Kft. is establishing
1993
The hot food bowl will be developed for the first time in Hungary, which is own product, own development, and is still in circulation and production to this day.
1994
Cultural House in Kiskunlacháza will be purchased, which will be converted into production and is still in use today.
2000
We are expanding with a new hall and a new machine park is arriving, we are introducing the ISO 9001 standard
2005
Production expands with the purchase of additional machines, and meeting & residential areas are created (for guests and service professionals)
2016
Our “extruder” is purchased and put into operation, with which we make the raw material for ourselves
2020
Our overall image and website will be renewed
